William "Bill" Walters, Sr.

William "Bill" Walters, Sr., WWII Navy veteran, of Forest Park, passed away on August 28, 2016. Services will be held at Forest Park United Methodist Church of Forest Park on August 31, 2016 at 2:00pm. Pastor Karen Fisher will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Union City. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8pm. He is survived by his daughters, Gail Jones(Butch) of Newnan, Sharla Wilson(Clem) of Forest Park, and Trudie Bettini(Troy) of Griffin; sons, Bill Walters, Jr(Linda) or Morrow and Rick Walters of Hampton; brother, Wesley Walters of LaGrange; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
