James Edgar Chitwood Sr., 93, of Covington and formerly of Stockbridge, passed away July 25, 2016. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the chapel at 1pm. Dr. Mike Mayfield officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 5-8pm. Survivors include: Daughters- Mary Dianne Hammond; Bertha Jane Davis; Toni Ruth Glass (Roy Allen); Joyce Evelyn Mays (Julius); Sons- James E. Chitwood Jr. (Donna); 16 Grandchildren; 18 Great grandchildren; 23 Great great grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
