Jesse D. Evans, Jr. "J.D."

J.D. Evans, Jr., of Ellenwood, passed away on January 13, 2016. He was a retired business representative for Painters Local Union 193 Forest Park, Ga., a member of Leroy Duncan Masonic Lodge 262 in Atlanta, and a member of Yaarab Shriners in Atlanta. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at River View Memorial Park in Smyrna. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8pm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Annie Laura Evans, his daughter, Sheila Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Stephens(Charles) of Five Points, AL; stepson, Wayne Bruce(Barbara) and his family, of McDonough, Ga., 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
