Bertha L. Johnson

Surrounded by her family Bertha L. Johnson, of Lake City, passed away on October 12, 2015 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Bertha Pauline Deal and Zelma Lee Cathey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Johnson and her brother, James Cathey. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Galloway(James) of Conyers; sons, Michael Johnson(Carol) of Strockbridge and Mark Johnson(Deborah) of Conyers; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 1:00pm. Dr. Rick Long will be officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be accepting friends prior to service from 11am-1pm. If so dseired in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
